Artory was a playful and personalised What’s On App for culture and a collaborative research project measuring the quality of cultural experiences. It was powered by i-DAT’s open source system Qualia. It prototypes alternative ways of harvesting, processing and manifesting data on the experiential quality of a cultural experience.
Underlying this exploration is the proposition that the capture of an experience could be achieved through a real-time visualisation; an evolving dialogue captured through a stream of data, rather than as frozen moments in time.
